Service Description

This test is ideal for assessing thyroid function. Your thyroid gland produces hormones that regulate growth and energy expenditure. Thyroid disorders are pretty standard, and many people don't have any symptoms at all. This thyroid test screens for the thyroid hormones that play a crucial role in regulating the body's metabolism. This thyroid test measures: T3 and T4, TSH, FT4, rT3, FT3 to Reverse T3 Ratio and thyroid antibodies. This thyroid antibodies test includes TPOAb, TGAb and Thyroid Receptor Antibody (TPOAb). Nurturing Life and Wellness will send a lab kit to your address, and inform you about the nearest collection centre, so you can book. This test can only be collected on a Monday at specific lab test collection centres across the country. You are required to call the collection centre to arrange for the collection day and time. Labtest processing fee is NOT included. Collection fees varies from lab to lab and cost around $100. Nurturing Life and Wellness will email you the test report when is ready. Please note that this service does not involve comments on the results. However, booking a 30-minute Naturopathy consultation is recommended if you'd like some insights on the results. It is also recommended to book a 60 min Naturopathy Consultation if you'd like to make sure this is the right test for you. Processing time: 1-2 weeks Results are usually available after two weeks from collection.
