This extensive profile includes 7 key analytes, making it one of the most complete thyroid tests available. The thyroid gland produces hormones that regulate metabolism, energy production, growth, and many other essential body functions. This test measures: Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Free T4 (FT4) T4 T3 Reverse T3 (rT3) Free T3 to Reverse T3 Ratio (FT3:rT3 Ratio) Thyroid antibodies, including: * Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOAb) * Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TGAb) * Thyroid Receptor Antibodies (TRAb) How it works After your order is placed, Nurturing Life and Wellness will arrange for a pathology collection kit to be sent to your nominated address. You will also receive information about your nearest participating collection centre so you can book your appointment. Collection information Collections are available on Mondays only at selected pathology collection centres nationwide. You are required to contact the collection centre directly to arrange your collection date and time. Please note: The pathology collection fee is not included in the purchase price. Collection fees vary between laboratories and are typically around $100. Results Your laboratory report will be emailed to you by Nurturing Life and Wellness once it has been received from the laboratory. Processing time: Approximately 1–2 weeks. Results are typically available around two weeks after your sample has been collected.
